A member of American Christian Fiction Writers since 2002, Janelle Mowery was a finalist twice in the Nobel Theme Contest and won first place in the San Gabriel Writer's League 'Writing Smarter' Contest. In 2006, she signed her first contract with Barbour Publishing in their Heartsong Presents Mysteries line. The novel, Where the Truth Lies, which she co-authored with Elizabeth Ludwig, released in spring of 2008. The second mystery of the series, Died in the Wool, is set for release in spring of 2009. The third and final mystery of the series is titled, A Black Die Affair. Janelle has also contracted three historical novels with Harvest House. Janelle has been married twenty years and is the mother of two sons. She serves as treasurer of Sandy Point Bible Church and also assists in the church's teen program.
