Biography:
Jan Kern writes and speaks from her passion to know God deeply, as well as from her personal journey of struggle, loss, pain, and questioning. For more than 25 years, she has worked with ministries and groups with which she has had the privilege of mentoring and encouraging teens, young adults, and parents. She and her husband, Tom, live and work at a residential ranch for at-risk youth, ages 16 to 24, where Jan enjoys fostering friendships with the residents and college interns who serve there. And Jan and Tom will drop just about anything when their adult children, Dan and Sarah, come for visits to their home tucked in the foothills of the California Sierras.
